Megan is originally from a small town in the Victorian Mallee, Hopetoun. Her family moved from Hopetoun to Geelong in the early 80s, to start their own business taking her along with them.

Growing up in Geelong she still had strong ties to her home town of Hopetoun with most of her extended family still residing there. In the late 90s Megan completed her VCE at Clonard College Geelong, unsure of what her career path entailed she started working full-time for a large telecommunications company.

It was some years later that Megan found that her arty and creative personality drew her towards a career in Make-Up Artistry. She set out to study the art of Professional Make-Up Artistry for Bridal and Photography.

While completing the course she fell in love with Bridal make-up and decided this was the area she would like to focus her skills in. Not long after completing her course she gained employment with a very well-known and successful freelance company based in Geelong who specialised in Bridal Make-Up.

Megan’s family moved back to the Horsham in Wimmera in 2009. Not long after their move to Horsham, Megan met her future husband. In 2014, Megan set out to start her own freelance make-up artistry business, MGM Makeup Artistry.

Megan currently resides in Bannockburn, Victoria with her husband. She frequently travels to Horsham in the Wimmera to see her family and friends most weekends.

Megan has travelled all over the country to provide her professional make-up artistry skills and continues to do so. The beauty of being a freelance make-up artist is you can go where ever the client needs you from Portarlington on the Peninsula, Lorne on the surfcoast, Halls Gap in the Wimmera or Swan Hill in the Mallee.
